We have finally decided to rent out the spare rooms in our home. I think it is going to be tough since it takes me ages to warm up to a person. Now I have to let strangers into my home and we have to live together in harmony. Just thinking about it is making me stress out!

Sooo oh oh oh oooo, first thing first I need to paint the last two rooms. I knew it was a bad idea to move in before we finished our work. Ugh. Say it with me now. Ugh.

Then, I need to sort out the patch of grass outside my house which other beings call; the lawn. I shall now hereby call it ‘The Lawn’. It looks like a jungle out there, like I have to wield a nasty looking parang to get to my sidewalk to walk the fluff ball. Hence, the reason why fluff ball has not been walked for 2 weeks. After 3 and a half weeks the vegetation out there has gone wild and free. Talking about vegetation, I have to do an overhaul on the vege patch as I have miserably failed being the organic gardener. The last time I looked, my lettuces were no longer cute and fuzzy, they now look like mutated forms of the lettuce family, long, purple and Ugalee…when I type ‘Ugalee’ with a capital U, you know I really mean it.

Good news, my white flowers (their scientific name escapes me and I doubt it’ll be coming back) have come back to life full of zest and blooming prettily. I sigh a romantic sigh whenever I crane my neck out to look at them. I would post a photo up of my vege patch but I’d just embarrass myself and make you pee in your pants as you roll on the floor dying of laughter.

Sooo oh oh oh oooo, vege patch will have to get a make over. I’ll take ‘before’ photos and the ‘after’ photos for you to look in awe. Once again, don’t hold your breath too long in anticipation as this will be a work in progress, be prepared to wait. I am so excited! I hope this excitement last long enough for me to finish this project otherwise you know la sekejap panas, sekejap sejuk.

I digress, back to things to do. Before I can rent my rooms I just need to paint the rooms, vacuum, clear up the one or two thousand things that are lying around and change the curtains (the curtains were left overs from the previous tenant and look like the covers that they use in  freezer rooms where they keep the dead bodies). Classy, I know.

Ah, I wonder how this is going to end. I mean sooner or later we will have renters, I just hope no major dramas will come out of this decision.
