A belated Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
My holiday back this year was so good that I was going to quit my job and start looking for a job there in KK! I miss my family dreadfully but I managed to spend more time with them this year.
Who knows, maybe sometime this June I will be back in KK semi permanent while the MOH is trying to make big bucks in Asia. How was your holiday? I had heaps of stuff to do and try. Met up with old friends, nasty gossiping with a girlfriend (for about 10 minutes) and then we both got violently drunk.
I finally realized that making out with a girl kinda feels the same as making out with a guy. Tad disappointed but I had a shock when she bit me real hard as the finale. Man! that was a total turn off.
I saw my old crush in church which still looked the same and MOH was muttering “Ah Beng” under his breath. I dig him in the ribs for that. I didn’t see my ex this year but he is apparently spending a lot more time with my aunt and her husband. They hang out at the same watering hole after work. It’s so ironic, I tried getting him to my family functions when we were together. Promising him that he would enjoy himself but he always refused and when he did come he always left early. Now, he’s looking for my aunt and uncle whenever he finishes work.
Great.
Work is pretty slow at the moment my colleagues looks the same, boss looks the same nothing major has happened. Although my boss happily told me that they have given me a pay raise. Which is fantastic and it will help me pay off that humongous hole I have burned in my pocket from my fantastic two and half weeks holiday.
I manage to get pretty bed covers and pillows for the new house we are going to own. I couldn’t help it! The stuff were so cheap! I mean not cheap Cheap but definitely cheaper then if we had gotten them here in New Zealand.
My resolution this year is pretty shallow. To take care of my skin, my eyes, my hair and to lose weight and the aim is from 62kg (totally bodacious size I might add) to 55kg. If I can do this by the end of April this year MOH will pay me 1000 bucks. OOoOooOo

My parent’s 25th anniversary was great fun. It was colourful and I have to say without any bias one of the more fun ‘weddings’ I have been to so far. We had half naked people dancing around, very drunk old old uncle groping the men on the dance floor, pretty ladies singing their heads off. Tear jerking speeches and the quirky toasts.
Coming back this year was a good idea. It made me realise that my family is really an important part of who I am whether I like it or not.
Meizi came to town! We went to the island, I looked like a whale in my swim suit!!! Now I have gotten that out of my chest I can move on to tell you that the trip was fun. The girls sunbathed while I swam and pigged out on the cheap island food. MOH was feeling ill from the effects of bingeing on alcohol the day before. The water was clear, sky was blue and cloudless. It was bliss, floating in the sea and wishing that the fishes would stop nibbling my toes.
Mei and Kelvin were in town and even though I saw them only once it was enough for them to endear themselves to me and my family. I loved having them over. They were loud, obnoxious, talkative and absolutely adorable. The type of people I love! It was a pity that I only had them for a night. They had a wedding to go to but I manage to steal them from their relatives place to crash my Christmas eve party.
I didn’t get to play much Dota this year and I am glad because I manage to spend more time with my family, with the added benefit of not looking like a zombie the next day and not being as waspish as a fish monger. The boys themselves didn’t change much, Hon Fong is still the melodramatic dude with a stare, Miao the kool kat, Zu ever the charmer, Chee the playboy, Mike the Drunk ( when sober also act drunk, how la?). I manage to pull in some decent party nights with them. A lot of unforgettable moments but the best one is Pinkz, Soh, Tit, Oi Vui, Naz, Bron, Nipple, Pinkz, Me, Lovebite, Meizi, Mike and his speak too English dilemma. I also got to meet up with Elfie, for one drink and then I went home to chuck my insides. Sorry Elfie, If you are reading this I really did want to spend time with you and have some fun but alas I have no lasting power at all.
Another good surprise this year was that I made the acquaintance of Daphne who in my mind epitomizes the word ‘cool’ and ‘shabby chic’. This woman always looks as if she just got up but in the most craziest chic clothing. I mean it doesn’t look like she puts much effort but she just looks so cool! I want to be like that!
Sigh, I miss my siblings especially Ash since she was the one who irritated me the most. Bro was unconscious half the time I was there so we bonded on a different plane. A plane called DOTA. The times that I did play dota were the times that I lost, lost, lost. Punya tidak puas hati. They were not good players but the team work was good. Bikin pening kepala juga la. Ok…enough of Dota, I am 23 already I must grow up and put my dotaing days behind me.
