Little bouts of narcissism
nite got cancelled and I am just too lazy to go partying. It has been
getting stale like a repeat of the worst bubblegum song you know or
like watching re-runs of the worst episodes of 'Everybody Loves
Raymond' (totally hated his fake tan and Debs polished look) on the
telly.
The pictures were taken about two years ago before and after our trip
to the Big Boys Toys event in Greendale. It's an event where they
showcase hot cars and not so equally hot women.
You know,
I always wondered why people post pictures of themselves on the web for
no reason at all. I always thought that their level of vain ness was
pretty high (I say level of vainness cause EVERYONE IS VAIN to some
extent). But I know now that they post their highly posed (POSER!)
shots was not only to garner praises or insults but also to combat the
dreaded feeling of
.....
boredom.
I was bored so I surf through my old photos and laughed when I saw
these shots. I remember sitting out in the sun while I waited for the
boys to get ready. I remember forcing B to sit in front of a wall to
pose, he told me he didn't know what to do so I just said:
Me:"Ok, your angry!"
B: "grr!!!"
Me: "Ok, ok! your thinking of getting a new CDRom for your computer"
B: "ahh"
This went on for about 10 minutes and then he got grumpy and bored and then no more pictures lor.
Sigh,
ha ha ha ha ha
sorry, just had a funny thought in my head.

Raining like theres no tommorow ~ Worse still there is a tommorow.
Spring ain't here it was a false alarm been raining hail storms and
shit (kinda made one wish that it was actually really honest to
goodness raining cats and dogs).
I hate it when it rains EVERYDAY! Weather report on the telly says
"Akan hujan pada hari Selasa, Rabu dan Jumaat"
Sheesh.
It's confirmed!
My mood is connected to the weather hence why I am so grumpy 
I want happy sunshine and cool wind blowing through my dead but
beautifully coloured hair and feel as if I have nary a care in the
world. Instead MEREKA BAGI SIA SEMINGGU HUJAN!!

Day light savings
It's 6.30pm here in Auckland and the sun is still shining albeit
gloomily. They did this day light saving thing where they turn the time
an hour ahead or back depending on the season. Winter they usually set
the time an hour back since in winter there is less daylight and by six
it's prety dark already. However, since spring is here (YEAH RIGHT!)
they push the hour forward and New Zealand is going to experience
daylight even at 9pm soon.
I feel so weird with this day light thing cause when I think about it
too much my head starts spinning also eating dinner when it's still
really bright outside (coupled with chirping birds) is pretty unnerving
even after two years of me being here.
Tonight I'm having dinner with Eugenie...he he he..I took the liberty
of inviting B, Li Yang and Eric to dinner as well. Not sure where to go
yet but we might go to Parnell and check out all the eateries there as
it looks like a pretty happening place plus we get to choose from a
quite a few places.
I feel like organizing a small dinner where everyone brings a cultural
dish and I can borrow my girlfriends sceen and projector and then watch
some classic fudly movie. Hmm...viable no?
I wonder...
Listening to Gwen Stefani's song cool, I like it as it reminds me of her old songs with No Doubt.
Ach!
Getting melancholy, gonna get ready now and head off to munch. You guys
be good (as if you were doing anything else but being good)

Pictures from dinner, I had a great time just goofing around and talking nonsense.

Eric "pervert" came to NZ to visit his mum who had to be admitted into the hospital whom just got discharged just recently

We went to get desserts. I wanted to go to the Chocolate Boutique but there were no seats inside.
No way was I going to freeze my tush AND enjoy my double shot chocolate mocha. Brr.
I bugged em all while they were trying to enjoy their sweets
Belated birthday lunch

The girls for Kings Kids
Me ( I know I look hot in here and Meizi)
was really good! Talk and talk the day away which is pretty suprising
for me since I don't really know how to hold on to a long conversation.
After a delicious lunch of lamb shanks and a pizza we went to have
dessert wth some juicy drinks to 'boost' our full tummy.
After lunch and dessert we decided to sit in the square and bask in
the sunshine. There was a show going in the square with little
kids and young teens bouncing around to happy songs to spread the word.
They were from a group called Kings Kids who seemed very passionate in
what they were doing and they look so cute in their bright canary yellow shirt.
After basking and talking some more we headed to Imax (to the loo if
you must ask) and then went and sat down again to pass the time away till
Meizi had to meet up with another friend. So there we were chatting
untill this tall blonde dude came over and went "Meizi!" procedeed to
chat us up and sat down to gossip with us. "He's a model" Meizi says
and apparentlly he appeared in a shoot for Remix magazine so not long
after our talk we went over to check the hunky little man out and sure
enough there he was (all four of him!) in various poses.
Meizi had to go and amidst tears of laughter (courtesy of her friend's
macho poses) we bade farewell and I went home with B to mow the lawn
(well he did whileI just point out the spots that he missed).
A belated Happy Birthday greeting to the classy Meizi.

FULAMAK HUJAN LAGI???
Aiyah, I tell you ah damn soi man me today . I woke up late only to
find it was sunny and bright (when the freaking news said it would
beraining the whole day!). So I rushed out of bed and put the dirties
into the laundry. Surfed,surfed, surfed while waiting for the laundry
to be done only to hear the dreaded fall of massive (LIKE HUGE AS)
raindrops on my window.

Looking through someof my old photos brought wonderful and not so wonderful memories back
this one..
Made me laugh
Belgian beer...
IS GOOD!! I love it. I don't really like to drink beer but Belgian beer
especially the one called Le Blonde taste divine. I liked it for its
raspberry infusion twang to it. Another favourite was the Hoe Gareen
(or something like that) it is more mellow than the Le' Blonde. I
should have started with Hoe though cause the Blonde was abit too much
for my throat as it was so think and creamy.
Eugenie brought (and bought me) dinner at this place called 'The
Occidental'. Dinner was so-so cause I ordered Salmon with leeks
(EEK!!). Will definitely go there again for the dessert since
Eugenie is raving that it's pretty awesome.
