I'm bored, so I log onto MSN to find some friends to chat too. No one is online and if they are their busy.
But
When I'm busy with a MILLION things to do and I'm working on my desktop
MSN logs me in automatically and I get like a GAZILLION pop ups in my
face and I regrettably can't chat with friends whom I haven't seen in
ages.
It boggles the mind it does.

Bronson Suprise Birthday Bash!
I planned a suprise do for B last Saturday and it went off superbly with the help of Eugenie and Li Yang. Eugenie was so wonderful to lend me her bodacious pad to host the party while Li Yang was my banker of the day! I have such wonderful friends!

Recap:
11th of June 5pm
Bronson nearly found out about the party today when he got a call from Jo (netball) asking where the hell I was cause practice started half an hour ago. I left at 12pm to prepare for the party and practice was to be at 2pm, Oops! He called Eugenie who thankfully said I was with her and we were walking to the gym for net ball. Luckily, he was too busy with DOTA to question her further. Phew, the boo boo was that when I got home and he asked where I was at 12pm I said I was Li Yang but he said he called her and she said she hadn't seen me. Oops! Sheesh, I am not cut out for this lying business.
7pm
Was suppose to go for dinner with Jacqs at 8pm but his mother sprang a suprise and we had dinner with the family (steamboat). Yummy!
8.15pm
Arrived at Mission Bay for Indian food with Jacqs she didn't arrive till 9.30pm which was a relief because apparentlly everyone wasn't at Eugenies place yet.
10.30pm
Bronson was getting restless so Jacqs ask if we could go for coffee thus buying me some time. Bless her good soul!
11pm
At Starbucks, B was looking more and more agitated and worse BORED! I felt bad that he couldn't have dinner with his friends (because they were all congregrating at Eugenie's) but he didn't know that and he had this ' I don't have any friends look'. Poor baby.
11.15pm
Got a call from Eugenie saying that everyone was there except for Tania and Ralph
11.20pm
We left Starbucks and was walking to her place I gave her a call to say that we'll be there in 5 minutes time. Actually I told Bronson that I was calling Li Yang when in fact I was calling Eugenie. He said I sounded like a recording machine cause I kept repeating Li Yangs name. "Li Yang, Audrey here I'll be at Eugenies place in 5 minutes, Li Yang see you there. Ok Li Yang?"

Eugenie: HUh? WHat? Oh ,oh, 5 minutes? ok! ok!
Just as I was about to put down the mobile I heard her doorbell ring. SHIT! I had to stall B cause he might encounter someone at the entrance of the apartment! Bless Jacqs, after many eye winking (like I was spastic or something) she said she needed to get her ciggies from the car.
11.30pm
We were downstairs at the entrance of the apartment. Buzzed Eugenie and she was like
Eugenie: Yupz, Who's there
Audre: Oh it's me we're here!!
Eugenie: Oh is it (so fake) Ok come on up
Before I could say Ok , she forgot that the intercom was stilla ctive and we coudl hear her scream OK! OK! oK! Their coming up!
OH NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Me and Jaqcs pusghed Bronson inside and were mumbling like
Gee she's pretty excited i wonder why
Blur B was like "wow she's pretty active today isn't she. PLus she must have someone there."
I stammering a "Yeah, maybe what do you think Jaqcs"
Bless Jaqcs all she could say was "yeah yeah she must be so stressed with her exams"
Lame...I know, we were lame.
Anyhooo,
Went up the elevator, knock the door, Eugenie beckoned, B stood at the doorway refusing to move
SHIT HE KNOWS!!
So I pushed him inside and confetti rained upon him while ALL his friends wished him HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
You should have seen the look on his face.
Priceless.
Later on I found out that he was genuinely suprised cause he thought that it would be a suprise party consisiting of me, Eugenie and Jacqs and not the whole she-bang. Boy, immenselly satisfied I was.
Damn.
Also the doorbell I heard while talking to Eugenie was some last minute guest arriving. Phew, we were so close to bumping into them and ruining the whole bash.Man, no more suprise parties for me.
So the night progressed with the usual suspects going down namely the birthday boy who insisted drinking shots with everyone present (about 20) and a few more Plus, drinking games. He sealed his fate when he gulped down two absinthes shots at a lousy club later in the night and went down the canyon with Dr Peppers at Sixth Sense.
We went for late supper at 5am and he was making a fool of himself so I called it quits mid way eating and send him home.
The suprise was a success and most importantly B enjoyed himself.

Inane topics and singledom
Everyone is rejoicing being single. Is it for real? Or is
it just a way of pushing away the sadness that lurks beneath the
smiles? Or maybe I'm just being stupid and over analytical.
Yeah,sounds like the latter to me.
Yikes, James stopped talking and asked me if I was single and
everyone turns around waiting for my answer. For once I felt
no need to show off the fact that I am loved by a wonderful man.
But I did mumble an "erm nope not yet".
They all laughed. (cackling like hyenas who knows they have cornered a prey who has nowhere to run).
Phew, they all left. Funny thing is I love em to bits this people . People whom I have work with for the past year and a half.
I don't know whether to be sad or be glad for them, one of them was
going to get married when she broke off with her fiance and the other
was 'madly' in love and contented. Don't know what happened there but
it's better that I don't ask.
Heck, another workmate just came and out of nowhere ask
me if I was single. Gosh, I told him thats the second time I've
been asked that question. He smiles apologetically and tells me he
broke up with his girlfriend a couple of days ago.
Wow, I never knew my colleagues were as open as this. Boggles the mind @_@
But why tell me????
Anyhoo, midless chatting here, am at work and just finished reading
about how active we are when we watch television. Funny part of the
book was that it said "audience can be broken up into three groups
1, the not so stupid (but getting there)
2. Legally Stupid
and
3, The Beyond Stupid.
Funny, how most academics seem to condemn everyone (but themselves) to be utterly devoid of thinking abilities.
Funny.
Just like how unfunny this post is.

I downloaded a video that The Miaoness posted and it was of the boys. Gosh, I
loved the songs and seeing the guys with their antics made me laugh. It
also made me realise that even though I've only known them for
...what?...a year? They are already a part of my life. I have friends
who are finally themselves for better or worse.
I love that.
Just like how I love them.
Funny, how I met them when I was 13 and they were 15....how weird.
