It's a good day today
Like a happy memory you get once in awhile
Not a shadow of rain clouds to cloud over me
It's a lovely day today
I made a play with the leaves and flowers called 'Spring'
I took my time rolling in the grass
I cried a little when I played with a leaf
When it's sunny I take a leaf and poke a small hole in it
I put it up above my face to face the sun
The warmth makes me tingle
Tingle like little kisses my dad used to give me
It's a good day today
What are you going to do tonight?
Me?
Well let's see for diner we're going over to B's sisters place for barbeque and then maybe head off to the city to meet up with Frankie and his friends.
Or
We might just head home and play DOD after dinner. Decisions, decisions.
So what are you going to do tonight?
Till Then,
p/s it's Saturday already. Sigh my holiday is soon to be over.
One down
two more to go.
I need the luck you give me,
Like a young boy getting his first wet kiss,
Hoping against Hope that he'll get it right,
I need the luck you give me,
Like the girl who needs money to buy chocolate,
Desperately,
Desperately Needing Chocolate,
I need the luck that you'll give me,
Like the man who wants to slit his wrist,
Hoping he cuts it right,
Not wanting to feel the pain,
Not wanting to know he was slipping away,
I need your luck that you'll give me,
Like the mother who waits for her daughter to come back,
Hoping that she'd keep her temper,
That's like saying I'll never breathe,
I need the luck that you'll give me,
Cause, I seriously don't think I can feel my ass,
After sitting here for the past four hours,
Help, I need someone to help me get up.
Today was really a funny day
I saw a contruction worker doing the jiggy while working.
I saw a group of girls in a tiny beemer yell and flirt with a group of guys in a car shape like a Red Bull can.
I smiled the whole way to Soccer after being cooped up in the library. The feeling is like having the best and worst time in your life at the same time.
My pen ran out of ink and but I still kept on writing this entry using a blood red wall as support. I regret doing that cause I had to use a pencil and my imagination to figure out what I wrote with that inkless pen.
On my way to soccer I saw this hard out chick wearing a plaid skirt that was as red as her hair was pink. Right behind her was a guy with a spiky hair do and funky piercings humming along to his mp3.
Football was so good today. Ran hard and long, played from 5pm to 7.30m. It was good cause the Norwegians came back from their holidays, Tim (B's brother in law) came with his wife Evon and Berlinda. B's sisters made so much noise cheering us on that two promotion girls from Red Bull came ovr from their office which is just oppoite the park with free drinks to distribute to us after the game. Ahh...satisfaction.
It was warm and sunny one minute and wet and cold the next and this created an awesome rainbow that went over Sky Tower. A rainbow is a sign of God's promise that he gave to Noah.
God's promise...
It was a funny day today.
P/s David was suppose to come AND Ah Fatt as well... Fong Fei Kei kaw kaw y'all.
Hai, my name is Marc, Marc with a C and not a K. That was my first introduction to the world of Marc.
Marc is one of the most popular person in Uni as he
strives to ease the tension in any group. He's funny and witty and
sexually liberated in a very refreshing way. I have come to love and
respect this man. A man who celebrates his birthday today. HApPY
BirthDAy MarK!!
Last night, I went with Ivy to a turkish restaurant
that was called Caravan Serai. A place that was very frustrating to
find as had the same address as the immigration office here in Auckland
city. Don't ask why cause I really don't know
.
Me and Ivy walked in the rain with our bag of goodies to celebrate the
passing of a another year of a Mr. Marc Checkley. We ended up
at the immigration building and was about to call Marc to verify the
place when we saw two chicks under a tiny umbrella looking as lost as
us. They came to a stop in front of us and I realised it was Eve
and Anna from my class. They knew where to go as they had already
called Marc for directions. Whooppee!
Apparently, the restaurant was just down the road five
miutes from where we were. We were so late, the dinner was suppose to
start at 8pm and we arrived around 8.30pm (kakakaakakakka) Malaysian
timing my friends, Malaysian timing. At the front entrance of the
restaurant we saw Johnathan who was another uni mate and he said that
Marc was going to be late...phew...so we Weren't late!
We waited ahwhile and then Marc arrived all wet and
good looking, we headed off to the back of the restaurant in a big room
where Marc had book a big table just for tonight. It was a nice
restaurant, all big and yellow with postcards adorning the walls and it
was warm as toast!
When we entered the room Erlend, Marius, Magnus and
Lauren were already there. Me and Ivy went off to sit with Lauren who
was busy hiding from Marc with a menu so that she could finish writng
a birthday card for him. i think she wrote somethign like "May you
have the happiest of birthdays".
Oh yes, me, Ivy and Lauren pooled together to get
Marc this fartsy lamp that hangs from the ceiling and a devil shaker
which has a warning saying "Kiss your sooul goodbye".
We munched on entree's while waiting for Emma and Sarah
and when they came we started dinner. It was good, turkish dinner is
divine. I had lamb meatball and it was good, all creamy with loads of
garlic (me loove garlic), humus loaded with herbs and of course a tiny
weeny salad. I drank and (suprisingly) enjoyed the wine. I enjoyed it
so much that I had several (i don't knnow how many) glasses of it.
Chatted much with Lauren and took loads of pictures and annoying the
Norwegians with it.
After dinner, we proceeded to sing a birthday
song in finnish, Norwegian, malay and english. Lauren requested we sing
in D, however I doubt we sang in any key at all. Wailing was more like
it. Marc had to blow his candle twice (on a candle stick) cause he
laughed out the first one so it didn't count. After blowing the candles
Marc went to put on his superman outfit...all I can say is NAsTY!
We continued on drinking and talking untill a
waitress came over and started taking our empty glasses away and
another waitress was wiping the table. I guess it was closing time
already. We all decided to go to Emperor's Tavern up at Victoria Street
to continue the nightss revelry and boy, did we.
* A funny thing happened, we were all waiting
outside and me screaming myself hoarse to get everyone to pose in a
group when a guy came up with a sundae and ask Bibi how was her day
and Bibi replied "Fine and how are you enjoying your sundae?". The
dude replied "Oh no, it's a friday today". Everyone in the group just
burst out laughing and the poor guy sped off.
We all walked to emperor and the night was a fine night
for walking, the breeze was cool but not cold and it had stopped
raining. Nice. I have never been to Emperor but now that I have, I like
it. They have a live band that plays songs from bands like Hoobastank
and the atmosphere of the club is very nice with a fireplace and
'green' theme for it's pool area. The dance area was quite big the only
thing they lack was the amount of seats.
Drank two shots of Southern Comfort (this is way better
than vodka) and danced it out with Marc (who was boggeing crazily),
Bibi(who was being hit on constantly), Eve (who did the cool hip hop
moves), Lauren ( who was busy laughin at Marc) and Ivy (doing her usual
thang). We all went home around 1.30am all happy and satisfied. It was
a good night out. Thanks Marc and HAppy birthday you NAughty naughtY
man!
Till Then,
p/s oh yes, loaded more pics here
Marc's birthday
The moving avatar you see on the right of this blog is courtesy of B. He asked me if he could put it up but I refused but then he said it'll only be up for two days.."hmm..okla"..I said.
Just finished a late lunch after cleaning the house and playing indoor soccer. Indoor soccer was kick ass fun today!!! Had a brief game with the boys before we were asked to play with a group that had booked the other half of the court. They won 5-3. He he he, not bad as we were trailing behind 4-0 before we manage to catch up with a few well placed kicks by B and David. I played keeper for the last goal, I manage to stop two balls but missed on the last and final goal. DAMN!!!
I touched the ball and yet it went whizzing by crushing my chances of ever representing New Zealand in the world Indoor Soccer Cup...eiseh...kakakakakakakak.
It was pretty hard to get up today and ended up being half an hour late. SORRY DAVID!! Last night was boys night out, unfortunately I went along for the ride and ended up in Maragritas and manage to get front row seats to Allans total DECIMATION! kakakaakkaka poor guy.
Margritas is this Asian club frequented by a lot of Ah Bengs (extremely colourful Asian male) and Ah Lians (extremely colourful Asian female) who usually can't speak english....or so we thought. You see, last night it was the boys mission to hook Ah Fatt up with a chick. he he he. They failed misearbly.
B went first and he SUCKED! His first wordS to this petite chinese girl was "can you speak and understAnd engliSh?". She frostily answered yes and gave him a look that made him feel (quote) "like a scumbag ". B failed and when he came back to our table we shouted together "DENIED!!kakakakakakk hilarious!! Then it was Ralphs turn. He went for a chick right across the bar, sauntered off to her direction, looked her into the eye and said "my friend is interested in you" the girl gave him the evil eye and said "so?" and Ralph thought it was encouraging so he asked her for her name and replied "Vienna" kakakakakaka... DENIED!!!! he he he well Ralph thought he did good, but Ah FAtt didn't go over for the kill and I asked why? He answered (quote) "I don't think I am the bar girl type of guy" pfft (go figure).
All this happened with a lot of drinking and talking and we ended up going home at 4.30am which was of course after having a late (extremely late) snack at Burger King.
he he he...nice.
So how was your day today?
Till Then,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

This is the chicka whom I am going to Poland
with when I become a milionaire.
Intricately artistic with a poetic soul inclined to music
With a fashionista side and a groovy mama when high.
Wishing you a many more 'happier' birthdays to come.
