The next day me, Bibi, Ivy an Lauren decide to go for a morning walk.
It was a glorious morning. Much needed after all that alcohol.

One for the road.
Enjoyed myself tremendously. Just thinking about it makes me smile.

Don't know la.
It's a cold day today. The day did start out nice and warm but it
started raining around two. But it was nice for me as it gave me the
excuse to snuggle in bed and start reading one of the five new books I
have. Bronson bought me the books and they all look pretty yummy.
1, Memoirs of a geisha (as it was recommended by Lauren)
2, Seven up by Janet Evanovich
3, The tea rose by Jennifer Donnelly
4, Pandora by Jilly Cooper (wicked writer, She is so naughty)
Last but not least (thank god)
5, The peacock emporium by Jojo Moyes
I am so happy!
Will give you a short review after I've finshed Pandora...*ho ho ho*
Today has been painful, my house mates have been fighting and I thought all this would have stopped by now but it's all slowly surfacing again. I am staying in a Malaysian family homestay. This family has gone through hard times since they came up to New Zealand. Starting anew is alway painful as we have to let go of the past which is easier to live in and step forward in to the light which is blinding and so very uncertain.
I, for one enjoy fights, the type where bitchy girls go against one another or a fair brawl by the pub, that sort of thing. I am an advocate of letting out your emotions if your angry, for to keep it festering inside will only lead to much greater hurt. But I don't like shouting matches and physical hurt among family members it just doesn't feel right. Mind you, I have argued with my brther and sister and we have come to blows at times...but it never felt good not even once, even when I emerged the victor. When I won I always felt like I was the one who lost.....badly.
Coming to New Zealand I thought all I had to worry about was rent and food. All I had to do was be polite to the elders and be friendly to everyone else in the house then everything will be fine. A big muthafucking slap from reality jolted me out from that reverie. It sure did. I never expected to be involved in family squabbles and matters. I wasn't tecnically involved but it bode ill for everyone if matters of the house were not resolved. I was not allowed to be the innocent bystander. Being in this family I get the feeling that it's the "take it or leave it" type. Sometimes I get angry at being forcefully and reluctantly be involved, but then I stop feeling angry and I become just 'there'. I know not any other way to react. This family when they are happy life is so beautiful, even dreary winter is nice because of the company, the smiles, the joviality and the laughter. Lately the house has been smiling with the love in it. But the smile is slowly cracking...
I know that everyone especially families have their ups and downs. But I feel really high and low when this happens their mood changes are so extreme it so hard to adjust let alone keep up. I know it will again be happy times...I just don't want to be TOO happy so that I won't be too sad...
Reality bites.

The Naruto series started in 1999, and it was
created by Masashi Kishimoto. It begins in a village called
Konohagakure no Sato, where a boy named Uzumaki Naruto lives. Little
does he know that his body is actually the home of Kyubi no Yoko, the
Nine-Tailed Demon Fox that once threatened the village, but was sealed
away by the Fourth Hokage. As a result, Naruto is shunned by the
villagers and becomes a prankster who dreams of earning the name of
Hokage. After he fails the exit exam for his ninja academy, a teacher,
Mizuki, tells him that if he steals a certain scroll, he will pass
ninja school.
Naruto, bent on passing, proceeds to steal the
scroll--which just happens to be the forbidden scroll. Shortly after,
Mizuki tells Naruto the reason WHY he is so hated by the villagers-- he
is the rebirth of Kyubi. Iruka steps in and stops Mizuki from killing
Naruto. But Naruto, angry that Mizuki has hurt his teacher, uses his
new skill, Kage Bunshin no Jutsu (or Art of the Doppelganger in the
Americanized version) and defeats Mizuki.
After these events,
Naruto's classmates, Sakura (his crush) and Sasuke (his rival) are
introduced, as well as his new teacher, the easygoing yet
mysterious(and powerful) Kakashi.
The series is currently over 200 manga chapters and 80 anime episodes, and still going strong!-an excerpt from Friendster.
I LOVE NARUTO!! it's funny, interesting and kicks ass.
Although the series starts off slow the story is good enough to make
you want more. I've downloaded Naruto till episode 89 and the suspense
is killing me. This is definitely a highly recomended anime if you ever
want to see what the fuss about anime is. So when your finally addicted
or at least curious try this quiz out Which Naruto character are you?.
Lazy Saturday...nice

Last night was a fun mixture of rugby, alcohol and a dash of
madness. Frankie invited the whole gang to his place for a house
warming party in Forrest Hill. The party started at 6.30pm but me,
Bron, Whye Kong and Jacq arrived at around 9.30 pm Malaysian style!
When we arrived the party was focused on the All Blacks game against
the Pacific Islanders who were the underdogs and naturally the team we
wanted and rooted for to win. Although they gave a tough fight they
still lost 41-26 to the All Blacks. It was nice to watch although the
guys were a bit nasty calling em coconuts which I didn't really
understand what that meant.
After the game the party started to decline untill Joyce and
Jacqueline started their own fun in the kitchen. They would each take
turns turning on the kitchen light. They got their thrills by
crouching their shoulders and then suddenly raising it to the ceiling
which signals the person in charge of the switch to turn it on. When
the lights came on they started lauging hysterically. Seeing that
I was dumbfounded by their sheer delight. Who knew switching the
lights on and off could have produce such pleasure. That's not all, the
guys started joining in. They chose someone to turn the
lights on while the rest huddled together in the dark
corner. When the designated person turn on the lights
everyone jumped out of their hiding place and screamed 'SUPRISE' .
I fell off my chair laughing.
After that horrendous attempt at humor (excuse me while I catch my breath).......

We alll decided to go to Newmarket for some karaoke. The place we
went to was called Zoo and their biggest room was only fit for 5
people. So imagine the chaos when we tried to fit 13 people in the
room. Fun, fun, fun. So, there we were listening to everyone singing.
As in most karaoke scenes there would be the drunks who hoard the
microphone and will only let go after giving you the 'eye' or those who
didn't want to sing but are happily cheering their friends on. It was a
good night. We arrived at around 12.30am and left at 4.15am.
Salutations to Jason for being able to out tune everyone
in every song he sang! He was seriously the life of the karaoke
party.
Just writing about last night makes me laugh. Due to last nights
escapades I woke up at 12.30 this afternoon. Felt damn good, but I was
also feeling ravenous. So I whipped up some curry chicken and am
now happily full while regalling you of my night out. All in all I'm a
happy person today. I am also happy as I got to meet Bronson's
childhood friend Whye Kong who is here in New Zealand for two months
due to work. I also got to meet Sue who apparently was Bronson's
schoolmate back in Kuala Lumpur and also Koon Fatt who is a clubbing
buddy and friend back in KL as well. Such a small world it is indeed.
